We may revise and update these Terms from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them. By attending the Event after the effective date of any modifications to these Terms, you agree to be bound by the modified terms. You are expected to check this page from time to time so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.
Safety and Security:
For the safety and security of attendees, the Organizer reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder. The Organizer will conduct magnetometer and bag screening to ensure the safety of attendees to the Event.

The Organizer and its business partners may review and aggregate publicly available information about attendees from publicly accessible sources (e.g., social media, news reports, public filings) for the purposes of risk assessment and venue security. This data is used solely to identify potential disruptions or threats to the Event and to protect the safety of attendees and staff. The Organizer may share such data with service providers and venue operators.
If the Organizer denies you entry or requires you to leave, you will not receive a refund.

Ticket and Registration Information:
A ticket is required for access to the Event. Ticket holders must be dressed appropriately in business casual attire.
To consume alcohol at the Event, participants must be at least 21 years old and show a valid government-issued ID. No outside food or beverages are allowed.
You are limited to a maximum of six tickets for the Event. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel any or all ticket orders that Organizer finds to exceed or circumvent this ticket limit. If you want to obtain more than six tickets, please contact us at timesevents@nytimes.com.
No admission to the Event is permitted without a ticket. Each ticket will only be good for ONE single person. Tickets are only valid for the date and session designated on your ticket. Please check your confirmation email to confirm date and session information. Each ticket is personal to the ticket holder and may not be used by another individual. You must show a government issued ID that matches the name on your registration for admission. For group ticket purchases, you may make changes to the names of attendees until 11:59 pm P.T. on June 3, 2026. After that, tickets cannot be transferred.
Tickets can only be obtained online via the Event ticketing website. The Organizer can only guarantee the validity of your ticket if obtained directly from the Event ticketing website. Any tickets obtained through third-party vendors cannot be verified or accommodated.
Tickets may not be resold, exchanged or returned. To do so, or to alter or deface any ticket, will render it void. Entry is based on the ticket barcode and the name of the ticket holder.
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to timesevents@nytimes.com. Cancellations received on or before May 25, 2026, will be subject to a 25 percent administration charge. No refund will be given for cancellations received on or after May 25, 2026.
In the unlikely event that the Organizer cancels the Event, your registration fee will be transferred to a rescheduled date or a refund will be issued for the amount paid. This policy will only apply to attendees who are registered for the Event at the time the Event is canceled. The Organizer shall not be liable for reimbursing expenses for airfare, hotel or other costs incurred by you. The Organizer reserves the right to change the format, content, venue, speakers, hosts, moderators and/or timing of an Event and will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any such changes prior to the Event.
Force Majeure:
The Organizer shall not be held liable or responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations under these Terms to the extent such delay or failure is caused by an Event of Force Majeure. An “Event of Force Majeure” means any unforeseeable circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer, including but not limited to: acts of God (such as fires, floods, earthquakes, or extreme weather); war, hostilities, or acts of terrorism; civil disorder, riots, or strikes; epidemics, pandemics, or public health emergencies; and any government actions or regulations that make holding the Event illegal, impossible, or commercially impracticable. In the event of a Force Majeure cancellation, the Organizer’s liability shall be limited solely to the options provided by these Terms (transfer of registration or refund of the paid amount). The Organizer shall not be responsible for any incidental or consequential costs, including airfare or hotel expenses incurred by the attendee.
Recordings:
Any material filmed or recorded by you at the Event may only be used for the personal, noncommercial, nonprofit enjoyment of the registration holder. The Event may be recorded, broadcast, exhibited and publicly performed by the Organizer and Event sponsors, and you may be filmed as part of the audience. By attending the Event, you are granting your permission on behalf of yourself to be recorded for editorial and commercial purposes and agree to the following: being filmed, videotaped, photographed, broadcast, exhibited and publicly performed in any media and means; full use of your name, likeness, voice and words by the Organizer and/or the Event sponsors, and their respective affiliates and partners (the “Released Parties”), without compensation; specifically waiving all rights of publicity and privacy in connection with any such use; and you hereby release the Released Parties from any liability for loss, damage or compensation for the use of your name, likeness, voice and words.
Electronic Communications and Contact Information:
You may be required to provide a phone number, email address, and/or direct message identifier, to participate in programs or promotions (“Communications Services”). You consent that the Organizer may contact you via such Communications Services regarding the Event. By providing your mobile number as a contact point, you agree that we may communicate with you by SMS, MMS, RCS, iMessage, text message or other electronic means and that certain information about your participation in such Communications Services may be communicated to us. Communications Services may not be accessible or may have limited utility over some carriers. You understand that message frequency varies and your carrier’s messaging, data and other rates and fees will apply. Messages may be provided using automated technology. If you receive an SMS, MMS, RCS, iMessage, or text message to your mobile device from us, you may also reply “HELP” for help or “STOP” to cancel. You voluntarily assume all risk and danger incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event and agree that the facility, sponsors, participants, the organizer and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners, affiliates, employees and consultants are expressly released from any claims arising from such causes. Your statutory rights as a consumer in connection with the tickets are not affected by these terms and conditions. In no event shall organizer be liable to you or any third party for consequential, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or enhanced damages, arising out of, or relating to, and/or in connection with any breach of these terms, regardless of (a) whether such damages were foreseeable, (b) whether or not organizer was advised of the possibility of such damages and (c) the legal or equitable theory (contract, tort or otherwise) upon which the claim is based.
Organizer’s sole and entire maximum liability, for any reason, and your sole and exclusive remedy for any cause whatsoever, shall not exceed USD $100. The limitations in this section apply only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without regard to its conflict of laws principles that require another state’s law to apply. Any claim arising under this agreement shall be prosecuted in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction located within New York County, New York. To the extent permitted in law, any cause of action a ticket holder may have with respect to their tickets must be commenced within 1 year after the claim or cause of action arises.
Waiver; Severability:
If any of these Terms should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the law of any state or country in which these Terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term or condition is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from that term and the remaining Terms shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.
